At first glance Korra and Toph seem to be of the same character mold; both are brash, hot-headed, masculine and overall they’re two tough women. What sets them apart is that while Toph is a great example of someone who is masculine but nevertheless pro-feminist, Korra takes it too far and her overt masculinity ends up making her a rather anti-feminist character.

Finished!  I didn’t want to spend too much time on this, and also my computer was starting to lag something awful, so I kept it a little loose.  I still feel like I lost a lot of the energy that was in the rough, but c’est la vie.

I will also be at Anime Expo next week!  In the Artist Alley! I can’t seem to find the map so I’m not sure where I’ll be, but I think we’ll be under either “New Shoe” or “Two Keys”.

 I’m thinking about drawing some LoK stickers/buttons to sell… BECAUSE TARRLOK.
